New fertilizer grades
Honeywell has launched two new grades of Sulf-N ammonium sulfate (21-0-0-24S) and improved quality specifications and supply for its granular grade. Honeywell now produces mid and soluble grades of ammonium sulfate. According to the company, mid-grade ammonium sulfate (SGN 150) improves upon and replaces standard grade, offering more uniform spread patterns in direct applications. Soluble-grade ammonium sulfate (SGN < 100) readily dissolves in water to make an 8-0-0-9S base solution.

Honeywell’s new soluble grade is uniformly screened for use in true liquid applications, manufactured fertilizers, industrial applications and as a herbicide adjuvant. Honeywell continues to produce Sulf-N granular grade but has improved its particle size distribution and uniformity to better match other granular fertilizers that are bulk blended.
