Anhydrous ammonia flow divider

Apr 1, 2004 12:00 PM

CDS-John Blue Company, Huntsville, AL, announces the Impellicone, an anhydrous ammonia flow divider. The Impellicone distributes NH3 to multiple rows across an applicator with accuracy and flexibility, according to the company. The Impellicone can be used for all NH3 applications at normal rates and offers the flexibility to plug unused outlets without sacrificing accuracy. The company claims this will result in less nitrogen leaching, low variability in crop yield, and lower overall application costs.
