Equipment Technologies unveiled two new self-propelled sprayers at a recent media event. The new AS710 and AS1010 join the Indiana company's line of Apache sprayers.
The AS710 model features 750-gal. capacity, 42-in. crop clearance, a 120-in. fixed axle and a 6-cyl., 155-hp John Deere engine. It is equipped with a four-speed JCB powershift transmission, hydraulic suspension and custom cab. This model is a completely new addition to the Apache line of sprayers.
The AS1010 sprayer comes with either an 850- or 1,000-gal. tank and the option to purchase a 36-, 42- or 48-in. crop clearance. The sprayer is equipped with an adjustable 120- to 144-in. axle, a 6-cyl., 205-hp Cummins engine and a JCB powershift transmission. This model is a consolidation of last year's AS850 and AS1000, according to Chad Ringer, Equipment Technologies engineer. “We have taken the best of both and made the JCB six-speed transmission a standard feature,” he says.
The company also redesigned the operator's console on its AS510, AS710, AS1010 and AS1210 models. Other updates include improved braking, in-cab noise reduction and better angle on operator controls for less fatigue.
