What's new crops Feb 15, 2003 12:00 PM Keystone LA Keystone LA herbicide, a soil-applied premix of acetochlor and atrazine, will be available for the 2003 growing season, reports Dow AgroSciences. The “LA” stands for “less atrazine”; at standard use rates it delivers ¾ lbs./acre, compared to 1½ lbs./acre of atrazine in Key-stone herbicide. The lower-rate Keystone was formulated primarily for atrazine restricted-use areas. Targeted states include northern Iowa, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan.
