BROCK GRAIN Systems has developed the Parthenon support system specifically for use with the Brock Tri-Corr aeration and drying floor. The new floor system can be used for aerating a variety of grain types, including canola. The Parthenon support offers a load-bearing capacity that complements the strength of the distinctive, triangle-shaped center leg design of the Tri-Corr floor.
Parthenon supports are available in 12¼- or 1615/16-in. heights. A low support offers enough floor clearance to permit use of 10-in.-dia. unloading systems. The new system requires only half of the usual number of support rows and reduces the overall number of necessary supports by two-thirds. Floor supports lock together with an included interlock system to eliminate movement.
Brock says the aerodynamic design of the Parthenon support's built-in vertical column encourages efficient airflow patterns in tunnels and near aeration fans. The support's design also helps to compensate for uneven concrete flooring.
The Tri-Corr floor/Parthenon support system carries a five-year warranty.
