New from Raven Sep 1, 2002 12:00 PM Trueline steering system BEELINE steering software is loaded onto Raven's Viper System to create a user-friendly touchscreen interface steering system. It allows operators steering-assist performance, application control, CAN technology and other features through the same interface. Price is based on accuracy desired. GuideMate This new guidance system was developed through an alliance with Farmworks software. Operating on a Compaq iPaq (other PDAs soon), it offers guidance, datalogging and a coverage map, providing instant feedback on application performance. Price: $1,400; with lightbar and GPS receiver, $4,900; current SiteMate users will be able to add the program for $500 upgrade fee. SCS4400+ controller Raven has combined datalogging capabilities of the DATAboy and spraying control of the SCS440 into a single tool. Features include keypad programming and logging as-applied maps to a compact memory card for recordkeeping. Price: $1,915. RGL600 lightbar For simple setup, just plug in this unit and enter the swath width. It features a basic menu that eliminates complicated balance settings, or an advanced menu option. Interactivity with Raven receivers helps lessen downtime. Price: $1,495. Invicta 115 Smart Antenna This WAAS-only unit condenses the power of a GPS antenna and receiver into a single compact enclosure. It features 10-channel WAAS differential correction, a 5-Hz update rate, accuracy of less than a meter RMS, radar simulation output and two serial ports. Price: $2,595.
