Virtual terminal

Oct 1, 2005 12:00 PM

THE NEW IntelliAg virtual terminal from Dickey-john is designed to interface with seed sensors, shaft monitors and hydraulic valves on planters, grain drills or air carts to monitor and control seeding rates and fertilizer application. Optional 18-row accessory modules allow expansion to monitor seed flow for any number of rows.

Each IntelliAg system includes a monitor and a choice of control modules (planter/grain drill or air cart). Each control module offers four control channels and accepts input from hopper-level sensors, shaft rpm sensors, ground speed sensors, implement lift switches, air pressure sensors for an air cart, and seed sensors. The IntelliAg's control modules operate from nonvolatile memory that retains information even with battery connection loss to keep calibration and control information safe. The unit is compatible with most OEM tractors.

Contact Dickey-john Corp., 5200 Dickey-john Rd., Auburn, IL 62615, 217/438-3371, or visit www.dickeyjohn.com.
