what's new equipment Feb 15, 2001 12:00 PM Stay safe The EnviroGuard System can be used to contain fertilizer, pesticides, petroleum and most other liquids, says developer Scott Ramsdell. The kit comes complete with posts, galvanized panels, liquid-specific liner and hardware for do-it-yourself installation, or the manufacturer will erect it on your site. Polyethylene or polypropylene liners are available for fertilizer; an impermeable fabric is used for petroleum products. Four shapes square, rectangular, round and oblong are available in 25-, 33-, 45-, and 57-in. heights. A patented C-clamp system prevents tearing during periods of freezing and thawing by allowing the panels to float up and down slightly on the posts. Only minimal yearly maintenance is required. Price for a typical system, 44 39 ft. with 25-in. panels: $5,913. For an estimate or more information, contact J.C. Ramsdell Enviro Services Inc., Dept. Apply, Box 307, S.
