Conversion package You can turn a CAT Challenger or JD 8000T Series wide-gauge tractor into a custom sprayer with the Tufflite[R] spray system. The 95-ft. lightweight aluminum boom, mounted on a 3-pt. hitch, feeds from inboard stainless steel Trak-Tanks installed between the tractor body and track frame. The system eliminates the need for an additional sprayer unit, reduces compaction and takes advantage of the tracked unit's flotation ability in wet, rolling or uneven terrain. Hydraulic cylinders independently power each boom section for easy raising and lowering. The 3-pt. hitch control provides 20- to 50-in. ground clearance.
