The TriTon vertical blend system features the industry's largest standard front hopper, says A.J. Sackett & Sons Company marketing manager Jim Crane. The 8-ft. 6-in. hopper and flat-front blending unit are mounted onto three load cells located 48 in. above the floor. The design improves stability, avoids floor grime and means you don't need to maintain a mechanical knife and pivot scale. Eye on accuracy

Fertilizer materials blend fast and accurately with the Layco Volumetric blend system. Stainless steel rotary valves meter product, and PLC computer software automatically sets run time and speeds for each valve. The system is available in two- to ten-hopper configurations. Micronutrient and impregnation metering are optional. Blending capacities range from 20 to 120 tons/hr. with the standard 14-in. blend auger and can be increased to 300 tons/hr. with larger auger diameters. A 7-ft. 4-in. stainless steel hopper, with extensions on three sides, has a 6-ft. 4-in. dump height. The one-piece auger with 8-ft. incline eliminates the need for pits when loading bucket elevator legs or loadout conveyors.

Layco's Tower Blending System was designed for faster materials handling while sustaining accuracy. The tower system, which incorporates the firm's tapered auger vertical blend system, can be custom built with 4 to 14 bins and a capacity of up to 200 tons of storage. Hauling

Convey-All USA says its Commercial Seed Tenders (CST) are ideal for GPS-controlled, variable rate, blend-on-the-go applicators. Six multicompartment CST models, ranging from 16 to 40 ft., transport and unload fertilizer or seed into any applicator, planter or air seeder. The hydraulically controlled discharge conveyor swings 150 for easy positioning. You can adjust discharge height from 10 to 15 ft. for transferring seed into a truck or wagon, or remove the conveyor for pit dumping.

Choose from frame-mount models, with fenders, or skid-mount models for transporting on a flatbed trailer. They feature 12-gauge steel tanks with rolltop lids or electric roll tarps, outside and inside ladders plus a full-length catwalk and 10-in. discharge tube conveyor with a 12-in. belt.
